Adekunle Gold’s concert, One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold (ONSWAG), ended up on a very impressive note after the event started behind schedule.
The event, which held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, was supposed to start at about 7:30pm, but it started at around 9:30pm, leaving fans slightly agitated. Thankfully, as soon as on-air personality, Do2un, got on stage and apologised the show kicked off in full.
Performances by Myoa, Funbi, and Teni (who performed her song, “Fargin”) ensured that the fans soon forgot about the delay.
It was not until around 10pm, with momentary applause, that Adekunle Gold got on stage to perform his show-opening song, “Orente” while subsequently performing “Work”.
The former YBNL singer also called out the likes of Simi to perform their effusive single, “No Forget”, off the Gold album.
UK-based Nigerian singer, Moelogo, also had his time and he did an awesome performance of “Ireti”, which was released in 2016.
