Olamide has received criticism from music fans on social media following plans for singer and Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) official, Yomi Sars, to perform at the OLIC4 event yesterday.
The event which held at the main bowl of the Teslim Balogun Stadium is an annual music concert organised by renowned street ambassador, Olamide.
Yomi Sars’ planned performance at OLIC4 was coming hot off the heels of the recent raging campaigns and protests against the infamous SARS police unit which he was part of for its brutality against youths.
Since the beginning of the #EndSARS campaign nearly two weeks ago, several popular Nigerian voices, including Olamide, have lend their support to the campaigns.
““End SARS brutality, plenty suffer man de face. Guide and protect the people not make life miserable for them due to the pressure that comes with your work or what you going through at home. A man with gun should be mentally balanced and well oriented.” Baddo had tweeted.
However, the invitation of Yomi Sars to perform at the music concert was received with so much bad air as fans thought it somewhat jeopardises the entire #EndSARS cause.

Meanwhile, Olamide is yet to react to the series of backlash he has received from social media during and after the event.
Also, Filterfree cannot independently confirm that Yomi Sars indeed performed at the event.
