We are not so sure about Mr Olu Maintain’s “Best Video Director in Nigerian” claims but at least he shot a dope video for his new single “Excuse My French (Excusez mon Francais)” to make his case. The song starts off at number 36 on the Play Data charts and for some strange reason, the original video has been pulled off of the internet but we’ve found another link.
Videographer Adasa Cookey’s Squareball Entertainment also has an artist on the books, his name in 1DA and his new single “Joy” came in two places lower. 1DA has had a number of impressive singles in the past as well.

2Baba’s record with Sauti Sol “Come make we go” could become the Kenyan group’s most popular song in Nigeria but it’s off to a modest start at number 43. The single is only one of a few songs 2Baba has on the charts, “Coded Tinz” (#27) and “Officially Blind” (#79). With all the drama surrounding her personal life, it’s no surprise that Tiwa Savage’s “If I Start to Talk” debuted on the charts at number 53. The video has 300k+ Youtube views in less than a week of release.
