MI Abaga has expressed his dissatisfaction with Tinny Records star, YCee following a post on the latter’s Instagram page.
On Saturday, the Tinny Record ace had posted snapshots of a report on the state of record labels in Nigeria on his page.
The report titled: “The Death of Nigerian Labels, The Dearth of Hip-hop Crew and Tinny Mafia”, had praised the emergence of Tinny Records and contrasting that with the fortunes of Chocolate City.
The report described Chocolate City’s position in the music industry as “uncertain” following the break up of BrymO, Jesse Jagz, and Ice Prince from the group.
MI Abaga, who is part of the top brass at Chocolate City and one of the label’s earliest artists, did not take the comment lightly. He responded: “Delete the page concerning me and mine.”
So far, the post is still live on YCee’s page, whether it will be removed or not remains to be seen.https://www.instagram.com/p/BZWsWr_HAr0/
