M.I. Abaga and his Chocolate City associates just put out a cypher. The cypher adds credence to the seriousness of Nigerian hip-hop in 2019.
The cypher was done in collaboration with Martell, 100 Crowns and Continued ent.
It features Loose Kaynon, A-Q, Blaqbonez and M.I. with each of them spitting bars over a solemn beat.
The video was shot by Dekunle Aina. It is five minutes long.
Martell Cypher is the second noteworthy hip-hop work released in Nigeria only ten days into the new year.
The first project, Clone Wars IV by Show Dem Camp is already receiving acclaim from hip-hop lovers in the country.
With the release of this cypher, hip-hop heads in the country have reasons to be excited by the activity of rappers so far.
