Mayorkun On Floating His Own Record Label: “Maybe In 4-5 Years”

Mayorkun may be nursing an ambition to be a record label owner. But he is not establishing a record label anytime soon.

The Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) wonderboy cleared the air in an interview with HIPTV recently following a rumours of a possible breakaway from the DMW label.

The Mayor of Lagos maintained that he is not leaving the label because he is not that big yet.

He said he has set his own timeframe establishing his own label, which could be as much as five years from the time of granting the interview.

“I think there’s a particular time-frame I have in mind; maybe four to five years. I’m really working with Davido’s blueprint.”
