Singer, May D was not signed during his time with P-Square and he considered it both his and their own faults.
Mr. May D provided a detailed explanation on his stint Square Records to Nigerian radio host, DJ Abass in the United Kingdom.
The singer explained that he had always wanted a contract with the P-Square duo.
However, it did not happen because all the parties involved had never signed a contract before.
“I think it was a mistake on both of us part,” May D said in the interview.
“They haven’t signed anyone before. So they were like just do your thing. Get big on our platform. But things changed; I mean it’s business.”
The singer said despite his experience with P-Square he will sign artists formally.
The duo of P-Square disbanded two years ago and are now actively chasing solo careers.
