5 Star Music have announced the signing of a new artiste, his name is XBusta.
KCee, XBusta, E Money
XBusta, real name Okafor Golden Chinedu, is a rapper, singer and songwriter who was born in Lagos on February 27, 1994.
According to the press statement, Kcee first met Xbusta in Owerri back in 2012 but they lost contact till they met again this year and he was invited to perform at the Five Star Music festival in Lagos. Talks between 5 Start Music and XBusta progressed and the rapper was announced as a signing on 30th, April.
XBusta began his music career in Obalende, Lagos where he hung out at studios with the likes of Vector and General Pype. He then relocated to Owerri when he got admission into Imo State University where he studied Estate Management.
The rapper first gained prominence in 2013 when M.I and Gbenga Adeyinka discovered him in Owerri on the 3rd leg of the Star Music Trek concert. M.I. was reportedly so impressed that he bowed after his performance and promised to stay in touch.

On the Abeokuta run of the show, XBusta was invited on stage by Dr. Sid for an impromptu freestyle and he impressed Sid so much that he immediately cosigned his talent.

XBusta was formerly signed to Valencia Records, he now joins Kcee, Harrysong and Skiibii on 5 Star Music.
