JJC And Funke Akindele Launch New Record Label

JJC of the defunct JJC &419 group along with his wife, popular comedienne Funke Akindele have launched a new record label. Their jointly owned label is called Scene One Records.

The brand is housed under Scene One Productions which is responsible for producing Funke’s ‘Jenifa Diaries‘.

The label has already signed a couple of acts in its bid to hit the ground running. They include Ruby and Pearl, Martins Feelz, Sonorous and also Mo’Eazy who was formerly signed to Darey’s Soul Muzik.

Alongside the record label, the couple are also starting a TV show called “Industreet” which will cover life in the music industry.

The couple floated the record label to help young and upcoming artistes nurture their talents as well as create a platform for them to be heard and seen.
