The latest addition to DJ Spinall’s discography, Dreams, like his last two projects, Ten and My Story, is a testimony to his ability to unify artists and their diverse sounds without the effort turning out corny.
“A playlist with all your favourite artists all across different genres.” DJ Spinall said of his album, Dreams.
At a total of 10-track, Dreams is perhaps DJ Spinall’s shortest album, making it gratifying and at the same time abrupt: Dreams goes straight to the point.
Appearances by Wizkid, Niniola, YCee, Simi, Mr. Eazi, Wande Coal, Harry Song, Reekado Banks, Wurld, and Olamide ensure that the album reaches impressive depths.
From the Harry Song assisted Hanky Panky to Thinking About You featuring Niniola, Opoju, which has Wizkid in all his glory, down to the very last track, Gimmie Love (features Olamide), Dreams reduces the likelihood of skipping tracks while also increasing the chance to hit play back.
However, it remains to be seen if the album truly accomplishes its full potentials, both commercial and critical acclaim.
