Di’Ja – “I’m Not In Competition With Simi”

Mavin singer, Di’ja, has denied claims that she’s competing with her colleague Simi who recently released her debut album.

She spoke with Goldmyne TV this weekend at the official launch of Simi’s album.

The singer said that the media were the ones trying to pitch the two against each other. She said that all that mattered was creating music and it was what she had been focused on doing.

The talented singer also said music was for everybody and all that mattered was creating the music and the message contained in the music.

“Music is for everybody. If you’re about the music you don’t think about the competition. Because it’s really about the music, it’s about the message. If you love it so much all you do is create and that’s what we are here to do, to create music until we can’t create any longer.”
