Davido has refuted claims by D’Banj that he was signed to his DKM record label in 2014.

D’Banj had claimed earlier today that he had signed Davido to his record label with a Rolex wristwatch.

In an interview with Spindle Magazine, Davido revealed that he was not actually signed to DKM record that year.

However, the singer corroborated D’Banj’s claim on the Rolex wristwatch. He said that he got his first Rolex watch from the former Mohits ace.

D’Banj gave me my first Rolex though, but I never signed anything. Blessings to him, pave the way for sure.

He repeated this same claim when the video of D’Banj’s interview went viral.
