First Lady: Davido Hints At Signing Female Artist To His DMW Label

Davido may sign a female artist to his label, DMW soon. However, the singer is still coy about who and when this would happen.

The Assurance star took to Twitter to make his thought on signing a female artist public. The tweet has continued to receive attention on from fans and critiques alike.

“Maybe it’s time to sign a female artist?” Davido tweeted.

DMW is a male-dominated label boasting of the likes Mayorkun, Dremo, Perruzi, Yonda and the recently signed Idowest.

Recall that last week, Davido, in an interview with popular radio/TV host, Moet Abebe, explained that he had no reason to sign a female artist to his label.

Apparently, Davido had not expected the question and it caught him off guard when Abebe asked him about it. All that may soon change, how soon is what no one knows yet.
