Quintessential Nigerian singer, Darey, has noted that there was more listenership for the alternative genre now than it was before.
The “Pray For Me” crooner told HIPTV recently that there were more artists doing the genre in the country now than in the past decade.
“There are so many artists out there now apart me, Bez, Simi, Adekunbi Gold.”
He said the definition of the genre was becoming clearer now as most of the popular artistes were not doing the conventional afropop songs.
