Charly Boy Calls Off #ResumeOrResign Protests In Abuja

Charly Boy a.k.a Area Fada has called off his #ResumeOrResign sit out protest in the country’s capital, Abuja.

The protest started last Monday over the prolonged absence of President Muhammadu Buhari from office. Charly Boy earlier this week took to the popular Wuse market to garner support for the movement. This didn’t end well as it caused an ethnic backlash which resulted in his getting attacked and the market, shut down.

In an Instagram post, the social activist pointed out that the protest had nothing to do with ethnicity but those who attacked them made it so. He promised however, that they’ll be beaten at their game.
