Teni The Entertainer is assuring her fans and observers that she has something in store for them this year. That thing is the same EP she’s been announcing over the past few months.
The singer speaks on the upcoming project in an interview with Complex UK recently.
Teni The Entertainer stated that the new EP is still coming.
“It is still coming, I promise,” Teni stated in the interview.
Asides this, she didn’t give too much detail, especially on when the EP will drop.
“I’m just taking my time to make it as best as possible; I don’t want to rush. It will be a mixture of the sounds I’ve been putting out—it has to be.”
She continued:
“I’ll probably sit down and hear all my music on my hard-drive, and then I’ll record something. When it’s out, you’re going to look back on this interview and be like, ‘Damn! She’s 50 times bigger now.'”
Teni, who only just finished touring nine countries in Europe couldn’t hide her excitement at the widespread acceptance of her music.
She said while she might be well-known in the United States, her biggest surprise came from northern Europe.
“Bulgaria, Poland, Romania… Those places surprised me the most. White people were, like, singing my songs. I’m telling you! It was “Askamaya” and “Uyo Meyo” and, I’m telling you, they were singing along to all the words! Of all my travels, that was the biggest shock; I’d already been going to the States since I was young, I have family out there, so I would go and spend the summer.”
