Warri lyricist, Egbezi starts the year with a single dubbed as “Blast” and it features a guest verse from Headies nominated wordsmith, Payper Corleoneq. The song which is off Egbezi’s forthcoming project, “Afrocentric: the Adaptation album” is a multi-genre record; a revisit to the 90’s traditional hip-hop, with a spin of Fela Kuti’s afro rhythm mixed a bit of Brenda Fassie.
Blast was produced by Egbezi. And on it, Egbezi goes in with a very catchy hook with additional vocals from AFRIMA award winning singer, Asikey. This was complemented with well served verses from both Egbezi, and Payper Corleone. The song sounds pretty great.
