Patoranking has released his new album, Wilmer. The album is his sophomore project after God Over Everything which was released in 2016.

Wilmer is named after the singer’s daughter. In fact, she also appeared on the cover art of the album.

“I’ve put my heart and soul into this album,” Patoranking said of the new project.

“‘Wilmer’ has purely been a blessing and I hope this project encourages you … The journey hasn’t been easy, but we are thankful for where we are headed.”

The album contains only 12 songs, making it slightly compact than his debut album which has 16 songs.

Wilmer also sees Patoranking pitching himself on a Pan-African level. The project featured artists from several African countries, most notably South Africa.

Bera, Nyashinki, Donae’o, Busiswa and Dadju are the African artists who appeared on the project.

DMW flag bearer, Davido also appeared on the project as the only artists repping Nigeria.

Wilmer opens with the eponymously titled track, “Wilmer”, then it proceeds with the likes of “Feelings”, “Temperature”, “Nakupenda”, “Black”, and “Zéro Problémé”.

The singer had previously released “Lenge Lenge” and “Confirm” as singles in the last two months. However, the two songs still made the cut on the album.

Other songs on the album include “Turn Up”, “Champion”, “Go Crazy”, and “Open Fire”.
