Korede Bello may not have scored a massive hit like 2015’s “Godwin” but he is present and kicking. Even a not-so-active music follower can attest to this.
This year alone, Korede Bello has released two singles “Joko” and “Mr Vendor”. He also started a challenge that didn’t quite kick off good.
In most of these songs, Korede Bello usually took a celebratory outlook. But on his third single this year, the newly released “The Way You Are”, the Mavin Records singer takes a different stance.
The singer preaches self-love over a guitar led instrumental that forms the backbone of “The Way You Are”. The “Mega Superstar”, who used to and probably still have good will with ladies, takes a different approach to seek love.
The soothing sonic patterns of “The Way You Are” immediately places listeners in a subtle and stress-free environment. Stripped-down to its barest minimum, from the guitar riffs and gentle claps, “The Way You Are” places more attention to vocals and lyrics.
“They don’t know know know you, the way that I do. Because you’re so beautiful the way that you are,” Korede Bello sings on “The Way You Are”.
The song comes at a time where people are beginning to focus on loving themselves. It’s topical subject makes the song relevant-to-time.
“The Way You Are” adds to Korede Bello’s growing list of good songs.
