Late in December of last year, Lord V came through with “Bars Only”, his collaboration with the highly respected Ghost, one-half of Show Dem Camp. In 2017, he has released another collaboration, titled “Knowledge”, but this time with Tec, the other half of the beloved hip-hop group.
On the laid back song, the young lyricist pays homage to his hip-hop elders and cleverly gives a mention to the duo’s longtime producer Kid Connect, among others in hip-hop who inspired him.
Sometimes I rhyme like Ghost
Sometimes I flow like Tec
Sometimes I focus on the beat and let the Kid Connect.
The MC also reminisces on listening to SDC’s debut album The Dreamer Project (2011) and never believed that one day working with them will be a reality. Well, here we are.
