The breakaway artist of 2016 was undoubtedly Mr. Eazi. Seemingly out of nowhere, the binational, hat-wearing, part-time tech entrepreneur became a superstar and Nigerians and Ghanaians were forced to take note.
The singer is starting 2017 right where 2016 left off by releasing his much-anticipated mixtape “Life Is Eazi” Vol. 1 (Accra To Lagos). The mixtape contains 14 tracks (+ bonus tracks) and features guest appearances from the likes of Falz, DJ Cuppy, Olamide and Phyno. Production comes from the likes of E Kelly, Del’ B, Legendury Beatz, Masterkraft, Young John to name a few.
On the mixtape, Eazi plays the role of tour guide, bringing together the energies of two dynamic cities—Accra and Lagos—into a body of work. He shared this on Twitter to serve as a listener’s guide.
