That song was easily one of the biggest, if not the biggest, songs of 2016, but if a Yoruba word can be streamed over 1 billion times round the world, can the Hausa language get some love too?
Morell is on a mission to do just that. Arewa’s very own, probably has more realistic expectations for his cover of “One Dance”, a song he recorded in mostly Hausa and realesed in the middle of last year, but it doesn’t make the record any less special.
