At least six songs by Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Davido, were played at the 75th Golden Globe Awards afterparty in Beverly Hills, California.

According to several reports, Drake, who had taken over the turntable from the DJ, was the reason the songs were played.

Three out of the songs played by the Canadian star were from his collaborations with Wizkid.

The songs include “One Dance”, “Come Closer” “Ojuelegba Remix”, “Ojuelegba”, “Jaiye Jaiye”, “Show You The Money” and “Daddy Yo”.

Also, US Rapper, Wale, also ensured that Davido’s 2017 hit song “FIA” got played at the event, too.

Several posts by official accounts of the artists also posted videos of the moment.
