Popular Nigerian musician, Solidstar, has left his record label, Achievas Entertainment, after spending ten years with them.

According to a statement by the label on their official Instagram page, the two parties had terminated the contract based on mutual agreement.

“The two parties reached a mutual decision to end the contract after working for over 10years together. All previous recording audios, music videos, albums of the singer remains property of Achievas Entertainment.”

Solidstar, until the termination of his contract, had released four albums under the aegis of the label. He also released several hit songs which kept him relevant in the Nigerian music industry since his first breakout.

He first reached stardom with his duet with 2face, “One In a Million”, which was released in 2010.

Solidstar also confirmed on his Instagram that he was no longer with the label.

“I wish to use this opportunity to thank my former label Achievas Entertainment for being there for me over 10yrs. Words cannot express how grateful I am.”
